Hi there,
not sure if this has already been reported (or is it a known issue?) and sorry for the long version in the topic - although I updated my version to the latest version I still don’t know if this is KS 2024.x?
But anyway, that’s not the issue.
Here’s what I do encounter:
I load a KS-file (created in the previous version) which includes a material (including a label) of an object.
Next, I do the following:
- Since I updated one of the objects (existing as a STEP-file), I imported the new object (STEP) into KS.
- Then I searched for the part of the initial STEP-object and do a right-click on it and select “Material” - “Copy Material”.
- On the corresponding part of the (new) object I select “Material” - “Paste Material”. Unfortunately this only pastes the material but none of the labels.
Afaik, in the past this copied not only the material but also any labels (regardless if activated or not).
Is it only me or is it a known issue?
Any idea how to workaround it (instead of doing the whole work of placing the label(s) again)?
Thanks and best
Eric
